In this article, I’ll show you how to embed a Google Form on your WordPress site. I’ll also show you how to gather submissions from your website visitors, and how to analyze the responses you receive.
If you have a Google Form that you’d like to embed on your WordPress site, follow these steps:
1. create a form in Google Forms
2. copy the form’s URL
3. paste the form’s URL on your WordPress site
In the next sections, I’ll show you how to do these things step by step.
How to Create a Google Form
- The first step is to create a Google Form. To do this, open a new browser window and go to this link https://forms.google.com/ .

2. Click on the Start a New Form button to create a new form.

3. Enter the following information in the form:
- Form Name: Enter a name for your form.
- Description: Enter a description for your form.
- Form Type: Select the type of form you want to create.
- Question Type: Select the type of questions you want to include in your form.
- Form Layout: Select the layout for your form’s questions.
4. Once you’ve entered this information, click on the Send button at the TOP.
You will now see the following page:

5. To edit the form’s appearance, click on the Customize Theme link in the menu.

This will open the sidebar with the settings appearance:
6. On this sidebar, use the options to edit the form’s appearance.
7. When you’re done editing the form’s appearance, click on the Preview button.
8. And click Send for the Saving your google forms
9. If you want to save this form, you can add it to your Google drive and create a separate folder for it, for example, with the name “my google forms”
10. To share the form with others, click on the Share button.

On this page, you can enter the email addresses of the people you want to share the form with. You can also configure who can see the submissions, and if the responses are private or public.
When you’re done configuring these settings, click on the Save button.

You will now see the following page:

To view submissions from your website visitors, click on the View Responses button.

On this page, you can view the responses that your website visitors have submitted.
How to Copy a Google Form’s URL
The next step is to copy the URL of the Google Form you just created. To do this, go to the Google Form’s My Forms page:

On the right side of the page, you will see a list of your forms. Click on the name of the form you just created to open it in a new window.

On the right side of the form, you will see a list of the form’s settings.

Under the General section, you will see the following information:
Form Name:
URL to view the form:
In your browser’s address bar, copy the URL from the URL to view the form section. In the example below, the URL to view the form is:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/12jINhC0nIiQx23RYvL4kHtS6lVTtR-Gd3du2y1UopGI/viewform
How to Embed a Google Form on Your WordPress Site
The next step is to paste the URL you just copied on your WordPress site. To do this, go to the page or post where you want to embed the form and click on the Add Media button.

This will open the following page:
Paste the URL you copied in the previous step in the Insert from URL field and click on the Insert into Post button.

The Google Form will now be embedded in your page or post.

To generate the shortcode for the Google Form, go to the page or post where you want to embed the form and click on the Edit button.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see the following code:

To embed the form in your page or post, paste the code next to the shortcode of your Google Form.

In the example below, replace GOOGLE-FORM-ID with the shortcode of your Google Form.
This will embed your Google Form in your page or post. To edit the form, click on it and make the changes you need.
